Die Fondation de Pr\u00e9voyance des Paroisses et Institutions Catholiques ist seit dem 28. Mai 1974 im Register f\u00fcr die berufliche Vorsorge des Kantons Waadt eingetragen und seit 1985 dem Bundesgesetz \u00fcber die berufliche Alters-, Hinterlassenen- und Invalidenvorsorge (BVG) unterstellt.<\/p>\n
Die Gr\u00fcnderin der Vorsorgestiftung, die F\u00e9d\u00e9ration eccl\u00e9siastique catholique romaine des Kantons Waadt, wollte bereits seit vielen Jahren \u2013 lange bevor die berufliche Vorsorge 1985 obligatorisch wurde \u2013 ihren Angestellten und insbesondere den Laien, die in Teilzeit arbeiteten, eine berufliche Vorsorge bieten. Aus diesem Grund ist das Personal bereits ab einem Monatslohn von rund Fr. 500.- ohne Koordinationsabzug versichert.<\/p>\n
Die Stiftung hat infolge einer Ausschreibung per 1.\u00a0Januar 2018 die Versicherten und Rentner\/-innen der Caisse de pr\u00e9voyance du Clerg\u00e9 du dioc\u00e8se de Lausanne, Gen\u00e8ve et Fribourg \u00fcbernommen, worauf diese Kasse am 14.\u00a0November 2019 aus dem Handelsregister des Kantons Freiburg gel\u00f6scht wurde. Die Statuten wurden im Mai 2019 \u00fcberarbeitet. Heute stellt die FPPIC auf modernen reglementarischen Grundlagen basierende Leistungen bereit, die den Bed\u00fcrfnissen der Mitarbeitenden der Arbeitgeber, die direkt oder indirekt im Dienst der r\u00f6misch-katholischen Kirche stehen und in der Di\u00f6zese von Lausanne, Genf und Freiburg oder auf dem Gebiet der Abtei Saint-Maurice (VS) t\u00e4tig sind, gerecht werden.<\/p>\n
Die FPPIC ist Mitglied des Schweizerischen Pensionskassenverbands (ASIP) und ist dem Groupement des Institutions de Pr\u00e9voyance (GIP) angeschlossen.<\/p>\n
